NB: big quantities of water and/or chemical contaminations, both deriving from “waste/cheat” or petrol additives, may result in a slow water dropping through the media or even a full water passage due physic and/or chemical interaction. Regardless of the water issue the FILTER will maintain its primary function of blocking the dangerous contaminants.

Thanks to its design, refuelling is very fast and you will never face the fuel splash while refuelling ever again, huge filtering surface of almost 1200 square cm.
Due to the FPR (fuel pressure regulator) set at 4.2 BAR instead of the old 3,5 BAR of the original 990 LC8, the system is more prone to be affected by dirty petrol/clogged filter forcing more services and attention.
KTM needed a higher pressure due to the increased power output of the new 1190/1290/1050/1090 engines but did not improve the filter set-up leaving the small units of the 990 LC8 in the project.
The media is washable. thanks to its huge surface, will last for many thousands of kilometres.
After mounting the Guglatech filter your bike will be protected from contaminated petrol, keeping the whole EFI system in top-condition.
